Have you Heard of the Witch Wound?

Have you heard of the witch wound?

In the Middle Ages “witches” were women in touch with their wisdom.
They were strong, powerful, intuitive women, unafraid to share their gifts with their communities.

They were women connected to the mystical, the unseen, the moon, the earth, the cosmos, and more…

They were the healers in their communities. They were nurses, mid-wives, herbalists, homeopaths, medicine women, alchemists, mediums, etc.

The idea was introduced — if they have the power to help, they have the power to harm…

And when this power was seen as a threat to the power of others, it was labeled, depicted as evil (see: images of cloaked women in pointy hats we still see today), and conditioned to be feared.

These women were tortured, imprisoned, and killed at worst, left to live a lifetime of suspicion and fear at best.

For many of us these women were our ancestors.

And we carry the “witch wound” that to this day keeps us from owning our power.

Doubting our intuition.

The witch wound keeps us disconnected. Feeling like you can’t trust yourself, your own body, your own innate wisdom…

And it robs the world of the next generation of strong, powerful, intuitive, spiritual, mystical women who are here to help the collective heal.

If this resonates with you —
we are those women.
We are the witches.

Our intuition is our gift.
Our connection with our body is our right.
And the wisdom we hold is ours to share.

Healing & The Witch Wound

To be the functional medicine practitioner + health coach that helps others heal themselves, I’ve had to face my own witch wounds.

My magic is…

🕵️‍♀️ one part sciencey health detective sleuthing out the underlying culprits causing your symptoms,
✨ one part intuitive healer listening to inner knowings, yielding to a higher power
🏃‍♀️‍➡️ one part hype-girl trainer always in your corner conditioning you into the force you’re here to be.

And its purpose is to help women overcome the health challenges that are keeping them spinning their wheels instead of shining their light.

Because the more strong, powerful, connected, and intuitive women there are on this planet, the more likely we are to save it.

Trying to connect to your intuition in a body coping with with dis-ease, high stress, or a crappy diet is like trying to get reception in a thunderstorm.

Connection is spotty if at all.

When we pull back the curtain and reveal what’s been controlling the weather, we can – POOF! – make it disappear.

And with the clouds gone your connection becomes crystal clear.
