Job Title: Marketing and Media Intern

Number of Hours per Week: 10-15 hours*

Compensation: $22/hour*

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
    • Produce engaging and informative blog posts related to health, wellness, and lifestyle.
    • Repurpose existing content for external media placement, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms.
    • Create visually appealing and shareable content to increase brand awareness.
    • Interact with the online community, respond to comments, and engage with followers.
  • Media Outreach:
    • Pitch and secure opportunities for podcasts, interviews, and features in relevant media outlets.
    • Collaborate with influencers and industry professionals to expand our reach.
  • Optimization of Website Content:
    • Regularly update and optimize website content to enhance user experience and search engine visibility.
    • Implement SEO best practices to increase organic traffic.
  • Client Testimonials:
    • Collect and curate testimonials from satisfied clients to showcase success stories.
    • Work closely with clients to obtain permission for the use of testimonials in marketing materials.
  • Email Marketing:
    • Manage and segment the email list to ensure targeted communication.
    • Develop and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing clients.
  • Ideation and Innovation:
    • Proactively generate creative ideas for content, campaigns, and outreach strategies.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
