Rainbow Fruit Kabobs
This healthy snack doubles as a fun activity for kids. Makes a pretty party appetizer too.

  • strawberries
  • mandarin oranges
  • pineapple
  • honeydew melon
  • blueberries
  • purple grapes
  • watermelon
  • wooden skewers (6 in) (can also use toothpicks for a smaller version)
  • Note: you can substitute fruits for another of the same color (eg. raspberries, mango, cantaloupe, green apple, peaches, red apple, etc.).
  1. Cut up fruit into bite sized pieces (eg. halve strawberries, dice melon, peel and separate oranges).
  2. Slide each piece of fruit (one of each color) onto skewer.
  3. Can put in any order you like. If you want to follow rainbow order it's red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple-pink (ROYGBPP).
  4. Store in airtight container in fridge.
